Pitshou Yunga Kafuku

Founder & CEO

Born and raised in Kinshasa, Congo, he moved to the United States in 2001 as a refugee and pursued higher education. He earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Logistics from Old Dominion University in 2008.

Inspired by the famous quote of John F. Kennedy, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country," Pitshou founded Congo Bomoko in 2021 to make a positive impact on his home country. The organization's goal is to empower local communities by providing access to clean water, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.

Under his leadership, the lives of few Congolese people have significantly improved through various initiatives and programs, such as the establishment of schools, drilling of water wells, and offering vocational training. He continues to motivate and guide his team of dedicated experts as they work to provide the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo with a better future
